Biography:

Jeremy Sumpter was born on February 5, 1989 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. His modeling career began when he entered the International Modeling and Talent Association at age 11. After winning the Pre-Teen Male Model of the Year while modeling in Kentucky, he returned to California and started acting instead.

He made his film debut in 2001’s Frailty, for which he received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. He gained mainstream recognition after he was selected to play Peter Pan in 2003’s Peter Pan when he was 13. He has since appeared in other movies such as An American Crime, Soul Surfer and Into the Storm.
