Biography:

Jessica Barden was born on 21 July 1992 in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. In 1999, she debuted with a minor part in an episode of My Parents Are Aliens. Her next acting role came years later in 2005 with a one-time role in No Angels. Her first starring role on the small screen was as Kayleigh Morton in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.

That same time, she made her cinematic debut in the film Mrs Ratcliffe’s Revolution. In the 2010s, she had performances in several feature films, including Hanna, Comedown, In the Dark Half, Mindscape, Lullaby, and Far from the Madding Crowd. As of 2017, she stars as Alyssa in the British series The End of the F***ing World. She also recently starred in the Australian drama series Lambs of God.
