Jessica Chastain is an American actress who first had a prolific career on the stage, but by the 2000s she had several guest appearances on television like on the prominent TV shows ER and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. She ultimately transitioned to movies and had her debut in Jolene, though this didn’t do much for her career. After a few years, she got her break for her roles in the films Take Shelter and The Tree of Life. Her performance in The Help then earned her acclaim and earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. Her success as a movie star continued when she played the lead in Zero Dark Thirty, for which she received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. She has since starred in other well-known productions, including Interstellar, The Martian, and recently in The Huntsman: Winter’s War.

The acclaimed actress has been acting for a long time but her break in the industry is considerably new. Lucky for her. It only proves that sometimes age does not matter as there’s always an amazing opportunity to those who wait. Her present success is already incredible, but another amazing thing is how healthy and fit the actress is. For her role as CIA agent in Zero Dark Thirty, Jessica worked hard when it comes to doing her workout sessions to effectively play the part of a tough agent.

For one, she starts her day really early in the morning, like 5:30 early to work out. Despite being famous, she’s the kind of person who goes to the local gym to exercise. In an interview with the Rolling Stone, she said: I’m not going to be the girl with the private yoga instructor at my house”. Her being a former ballerina and a trained dancer also contributes to her slim yet lean physique. In addition, she said: “I love practicing yoga and riding my bike. I like exercise that feels good for both your body and brain.”
