Biography:

Jessica Henwick was born on 30 August 1992 in Surrey, England. She joined Redroofs Theatre School and the National Youth Theatre. These were where she got her training. In 2009, she made her professional acting debut on the British series Spirit Warriors where she played the lead character Bo. She next appeared on the TV shows The Thick of It, Obsession: Dark Desires, Silk, and Lewis.

In 2015, she made her film debut in Dragonfly, followed by the movie The Heart of the Forest. She then gained further attention for playing Nymeria Sand on Game of Thrones. At the same time, she also appeared as Jessika Pava in the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This year, she became further known for starring as Colleen Wing on the Netflix series Iron Fist. She reprised her role on the limited series The Defenders.
