Biography:

Jillian Rose Reed was born on December 20, 1991 in Hollywood, Florida. She began her acting career in the late 2000s when she made her television debut in Zoey 101. She next played Simone in Weeds, earning her substantial notice. In the late 2000s, she continued acting as a guest star in Hung, Community, and The Middle. In 2011, she rose to mainstream fame for her role as Tamara Kaplan in Awkward.

She played the said character until 2015. For her performance, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actress. Simultaneously, she landed guest spots in Pair of Kings, Supah Ninjas, and Jessie. She has made her film debut in the 2013 indie movie Age of Dinosaurs.
