Biography:
Joanna Going was born on July 22, 1963 in Washington, DC., United States. Following her high school graduation, she attended Emerson College. She left after two years to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1986, she made her television debut on Search for Tomorrow. From 1987 to 1989, she became known for starring as Lisa Grady on Another World. In 1991, she starred as Victoria Winters / Josette du Pres on the TV series Dark Shadows.
In 1994, she made her big screen debut as Josephine Marcus in the movie Wyatt Earp. The rest of the decade saw her appear in the films How to Make an American Quilt, Nixon, Inventing the Abbotts, and Phantoms. The following decade, she mostly worked on TV films, TV pilots, and guest starred on a couple of shows. She appeared in the film Runaway Jury. Her latest work on the big screen was in 2014’s Love & Mercy. She also became known for starring as Christina Kulina on the TV drama Kingdom from 2014 to 2017.
