Biography:

Joe Manganiello was born on December 28, 1976 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. He attended Carnegie Mellon School of Drama where he holds a BFA in Acting.

He first gained notice for his role as Flash Thompson in the Spider-Man film series. On television, he played recurring roles in such shows as ER, One Tree Hill and How I Met Your Mother.

His breakout role was as werewolf Alcide Herveaux in the HBO series True Blood, where he was voted “Favorite Pop-Culture Werewolf of All Time” by the readers of Entertainment Weekly.

In 2012, he appeared in the movies What to Expect When You’re Expecting and Magic Mike.
