Joe Pesci is an American actor. He’s best known for his collaborations with Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese. In 1976, he made his cinematic debut with the film The Death Collector. Later in 1980, he portrayed Joey LaMotta in Scorsese’s Raging Bull. He then had roles in the films Once Upon a Time in America, Man on Fire, and Lethal Weapon 2. In the 1990s, he starred as Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas and David Ferrie in JFK. For his role in the former, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He next played Vincent LaGuardia Gambini in My Cousin Vinny and reprised his role as Leo Getz in Lethal Weapon 3. In 1995, he reunited with Scorsese and DeNiro in the film Casino where he starred as Nicky Santoro. He recently played Russell Bufalino in Scorsese’s latest film The Irishman.
