Indian actor John Abraham had his career beginnings in the early 2000s. After modeling for several ads and magazines, he ventured into Bollywood with his debut in the 2003 film Jism. He debuted strong in this movie, for which he got a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Debut. The following year, he starred in the movie Dhoom.
The film was a huge hit and instantly garnered him stardom. For his performance, he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. He next had roles in the films Elaan, Karam, Kaal, and Viruddh, among others. In 2006, he starred in the movie Zinda, which again earned him a Filmfare Award nomination. His role in the feature film Baabul also got him a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Subsequently, he starred in such movies as Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Aashayein. In the 2010s, he became further known for his performances in the Bollywood films Desi Boyz, Housefull 2, Race 2, I, Me Aur Main, Shootout at Wadala, Rocky Handsome, Dishoom, and Force 2. This year, he starred in the action-thriller films Romeo Akbar Walter and Batla House.
John Abraham maintains his ripped body by following a fitness routine. Apart from the physical activity, he also makes sure he stays in shape by eating clean. He starts his day with a healthy breakfast, which consists of egg whites, nuts, fresh fruit juice, and toast. His lunch and dinner meals are usually light ones with fish or chicken and plenty of vegetables on the side.
He prefers fresh fruits as his snacks in between meals. This helps him gain energy throughout the day. He doesn’t skip meals and opts to eat dinner before 9 PM. In an interview, he revealed that he has since removed any carbonated beverages from his diet. He doesn’t even have any cheat meals though he admits he loves Parsi food.
