John Allen Nelson is an American actor whose career started in the 1980s. He debuted in an episode of Loving. His first notable role on television was as Warren Lockridge on the soap opera Santa Barbara, which he starred in from 1984-1986. Afterward, he had appearances on the TV shows Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Hunter, Buck James, and Heartbeat. From 1989-1990, he starred as Ronald Arrizola on the short-lived series Booker. He gained wider recognition for his role as John D. Cort on Baywatch. In the 2000s, he became known for his roles as Matt Cutter on Sheena, Walt Cummings on 24, and Arthur Smith on Privileged.
