John Benjamin Hickey is an American actor. He’s been acting since the 1990s, debuting in an episode of The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. Later in 1994, he made his film debut in Only You. He next had roles in such movies as The Ice Storm and The Bone Collector. In the 2000s, he landed acting parts in the feature films Changing Lanes, Flightplan, Flags of Our Fathers, Freedom Writers, and The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising. He also became more prolific on TV, playing Aaron Solomon in Law & Order and Philip Stoddard in It’s All Relative. From 2010 to 2013, he became further known for starring as Sean Tolkey in The Big C. At the same time, he played recurring role Neil Gross in The Good Wife. His most recent work was in the 2018 film Sam Wagstaff.
