John Hannah is a Scottish actor. His acting career began in the late 1980s. His big break came in 1994 when he starred as Matthew in Four Weddings and a Funeral. For his performance, he got a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. His next mainstream role was as Jonathan Carnahan in The Mummy. He reprised his role in the sequels The Mummy Returns and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. During this period, he also starred in the films I’m with Lucy and The Last Legion, among others. On television, he’s best known as Dr. Iain McCallum on McCallum, Quintus Lentulus Batiatus on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and more recently as Holden Radcliffe on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
