Biography:
John Mayer was born on October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, U.S.. He came to international fame after releasing his debut album Room for Squares in 2001. The album’s lead single “Your Body Is a Wonderland” was a worldwide hit. It also won him the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His next album released in 2003, Heavier Things, was also a commercial success.
He continued his musical success with the release of the 2006 album Continuum, earning him the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album the following year for the single “Waiting on the World to Change”. Numerous unpleasant incidents with the media resulted in his going under the radar, in addition to his being diagnosed with vocal problems. He started performing as a singer again in 2013.
