Biography:
John Stamos was born on August 19, 1963 in Anaheim, California, USA. He was supposed to attend college but did not continue to focus on pursuing an acting career. Shortly after, he landed his first ever acting gig – as Blackie Parrish in the soap opera General Hospital. He next starred as Matt Willows in the show You Again? It was, however, his role as Jesse Katsopolis in the sitcom Full House that brought him to stardom.
After Full House ended in 1995, he starred in some made-for-television films. In 2001, he starred as Johnny in the short-lived series Thieves. He next starred as Jake Phillips in Jake in Progress, as well as played Dr. Tony Gates in ER. He then had a recurring role as Dr. Carl Howell in Glee. He played Connor McClane in Necessary Roughness and played the lead in the short-lived sitcom Grandfathered. He’s recently reprised his role as Jesse Katsopolis in the Netflix Full House sequel Fuller House.
