Biography:

Jon-Michael Ecker was born on March 16, 1983, in San Marcos, Texas, United States. In 2010, he made his acting debut on the Mexican telenovela Niña de mi corazón. His first starring role was as Ari Morales on the TV series Popland!, which he starred in back in 2011. In 2013, he starred as Nicolás “Nico” de la Vega on the Mexican show Gossip Girl: Acapulco.

Meanwhile, he had his film beginnings in 2014, debuting in the Mexican feature Cantinflas where he portrayed Marlon Brando. He soon pursued a career in Hollywood, playing a 4-episode role on Netflix’s Narcos as The Lion. He next guest-starred in an episode of The Lion. He later gained recognition for starring as El Güero on the USA Network series Queen of the South. He went to have one-time roles on NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds.
