Jonas Armstrong is an English actor. His career beginnings happened in the mid-2000s. He made his debut appearing in seven episodes of the show Teachers. He next starred in the show The Ghost Squad, followed by the TV film Losing Gemma. His break came when he landed the titular role in the BBC One series Robin Hood. He played the lead role in the show from 2006 to 2009. After this, he appeared in three episodes of The Street. He made his film debut in the 2009 movie Book of Blood. In the 2010s, he appeared as Nick Warner in The Body Farm, Steve Roscoe in Prisoners’ Wives, and as Ben in Hit & Miss. He later had roles in the films Twenty8k, Walking with the Enemy, and Edge of Tomorrow. His latest role is as Menelaus in the 2018 miniseries Troy: Fall of a City.
