Biography:

Jonathan Bailey was born on 25 April 1988 in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England. In an interview, the actor recalled how started wanting to become an actor after watching Oliver! on stage. In 1997, he made his television debut as a child actor in an episode of Bramwell. He next appeared as Josh in the TV movie Alice through the Looking Glass. During his teens and young adulthood in the 2000s, he had performances in the films Five Children and It, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Permanent Vacation, and St Trinian’s.

She also starred in the TV shows Baddiel’s Syndrome and Off the Hook, as well as starred in the miniseries The Golden Hour. In 2010, he garnered further notice when he played the titular character in the TV series Leonardo. He has since enjoyed a prolific career on the small screen, starring in the shows Me and Mrs Jones, Me and Mrs Jones, Broadchurch, W1A, and Crashing. Since last year, he stars as Anthony Bridgerton in Bridgerton.
