Jonathan Silverman is an American actor. He first worked in Hollywood during the 1980s. His first starring role was as Jonathan Maxwell in the NBC sitcom Gimme a Break! He later made his big screen debut in the 1985 film Girls Just Want to Have Fun. In 1989, he starred in the movie Weekend at Bernie’s. During the 1990s, he had performances in the films Death Becomes Her, Breaking the Rules, Weekend at Bernie’s II, and French Exit, among others. From 1995 to 1997, he also starred as Jonathan Eliot in the TV series The Single Guy. In the 2000s, he starred in several TV films, as well as starred in the short-lived show In Case of Emergency. More recently, he had roles in the TV shows Salvation and K.C. Undercover.
