Biography:

Joseph Morgan was born on May 16, 1981 in London, England. He studied a BTEC Performing Arts course at Gower College Swansea. He later moved back to London to attend Central School of Speech and Drama.

He then made his screen debut in an episode of the television series Spooks. He has since appeared in other shows including Hex, Silent Witness, Doc Martin, and Casualty.

In 2011, he gained further recognition for his role as Niklaus Mikaelson in the television series The Vampire Diaries. He reprised his role in the show’s spin-off series The Originals, for which he plays the lead role.
