Josephine Decker is a filmmaker, as well as an actress. She first directed and produced the short film Naked Princeton in 2005. She next co-directed the documentary Bi the Way. In 2011, she made her acting debut in the movie Uncle Kent. That same year, she wrote and acted in the film Art History. She went on to have more performances in the films Saturday Morning Mystery, Richard’s Wedding, and Black Box. In 2013, she made her film directorial debut in Butter on the Latch, followed by the movie Thou Wast Mild and Lovely. More recently, she directed the films Madeline’s Madeline and Shirley.
