Biography:
Josh Hopkins was born on September 12, 1970 in Lexington, Kentucky, U.S. His acting career spans over two decades. He first appeared in the 1996 film Parallel Sons. He next appeared in the film G.I. Jane. He later starred as Detective Alec Stone in the Fox series New York Undercover, joining the main cast in the fourth season.
After this, he played Matt Prophet in several episodes of the comedy-drama show Jack & Jill. He became further known for his role as Raymond Millbury in Ally McBeal and Assistant District Attorney Kite in Cold Case. In 2006, he had recurring parts in Vanished and Brothers and Sisters. He also starred in the short-lived shows Pepper Dennis and Swingtown. From 2009 to 2015, he starred as Grayson Ellis in the ABC series Cougar Town. More recently, he played Ray Prince in the TV series Whiskey Cavalier. He also starred in the 2019 film Crown Vic.
