Biography:

Josh Radnor was born on July 29, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.. He got his drama degree from Kenyon College and finished his MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In the early 2000s, he began his acting career, starting with a guest role in Welcome to New York. In 2001, he made his big screen debut in the movie Not Another Teen Movie, playing a minor character.

His first recurring role on television was as Dylan in The Court. Subsequently, he landed guest spots in Six Feet Under, ER, and Judging Amy before rising to fame for his role as Ted in How I Met Your Mother, a role he played from 2005 to 2014. In 2010, he wrote, directed, and starred in the movie Happythankyoumoreplease, followed by 2012’s Liberal Arts, which he also wrote and directed.
