Biography:

Josh Stewart was born on February 6, 1977 in Diana, West Virginia, U.S.. He finished a business degree from the West Virginia University. After this, he went to New York to become an actor. He began his professional acting career in theater. In 2000, he made his TV debut in an episode of Dawson’s Creek. From 2004 to 2005, he became known for his starring role as Officer Brendan Finney on Third Watch.

Afterwards, he starred as Holt McLaren on the short-lived series Dirt, which aired from 2007 to 2008. Around the same time, he also landed the role of Det. William LaMontagne Jr., a recurring character on Criminal Minds. On the big screen, he made his film debut in Lenexa, 1 Mile. He has since appeared in the films The Death and Life of Bobby Z, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and The Haunting of Molly Hartley. In the 2010s, he appeared in the movies The Dark Knight Rises and The Finest Hours.
