Biography:

Josie Maran was born on May 8, 1978 in Menlo Park, California, U.S. While she was still in high school, she was encouraged by a scouting agent to pursue modeling professionally.

She was then signed with the Elite modeling agency at the age of 17. In 1998, she scored her first magazine cover on Glamour. She was subsequently featured as the Guess? Girl in the 1998 summer and fall campaigns.

She also ventured into acting, appearing in the independent film The Mallory Effect in 2001, followed by Swatters in 2002. She has since appeared in the other films like Little Black Book, Van Helsing, and The Aviator.
