Biography:
Justin Kirk was born on May 28, 1969 in Salem, Oregon, U.S.. During his teens, he performed with Children’s Theatre Company. After graduating from high school, he relocated to New York. He also attended Circle in the Square Theatre School. In 1995, he made his TV debut in an episode of New York News, while his film debut was in Love! Valour! Compassion! released in 1997.
His first significant role was as Bartholomew Zane on the TV series Jack & Jill. He next starred on the miniseries Angels in America. He came to prominence in the 2000s after landing the role of Andy Botwin on Weeds. The success of the show made him a familiar face. In the 2010s, he starred on the TV series Animal Practice and Tyrant. His most recent work on TV was as Gideon Reeves on APB.
