Biography:

Kaitlyn Dever was born on December 21, 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Prior to pursuing an acting career, she was active in gymnastics, ballet and skating. She then trained at the Dallas Young Actors Studio and first acted in commercials. She made her debut in Hollywood in 2009 when she appeared in the direct-to-video film An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong, playing Gwen Thompson.

Around the same time, she made one-episode appearances on the television shows Make It or Break It and Modern Family, followed by Private Practice. In 2011, she made her theatrical debut in Bad Teacher. Subsequently, she acted in the films J. Edgar, The Spectacular Now, Short Term 12, Laggies, and Men, Women & Children. From 2011 to 2015, she became widely known for her role as Loretta McCready in Justified. As of 2011, she plays Eve Baxter in Last Man Standing.
