Biography:

Kandyse McClure was born on March 22, 1980 in Durban, South Africa. After graduating from high school, she started her acting career. Her first acting gig was on the TV movie In a Class of His Own in 1999. The following year, she made her big screen debut with a small role in the film Romeo Must Die. She had also appeared on the TV films The Spiral Staircase and 2gether. At the same time, she also starred on the short-lived series Higher Ground.

Subsequently, she starred on the made-for-television film Return to Cabin by the Lake. She next portrayed Sue Snell on the TV movie Carrie in 2002. Further recognition came after landing the recurring role of Marla on Da Vinci’s Inquest. She then became known for her starring role of Officer Anastasia Dualla on the TV series Battlestar Galactica. In 2013, she starred as Dr. Clementine Chasseur on the Netflix series Hemlock Grove.
