English actress Kara Tointon got her start in the late 1999s, making her debut in the show Dream Team. She next appeared as Pauline Young in 8 episodes of the British show Teachers. Following this, she starred as Gabby in Harry and Cosh and also starred in the TV film Boudica. In 2004, she made her American debut in the Fox series Keen Eddie. At the same time, she had her first movie role in The Football Factory.
She got her mainstream break after landing the role of Dawn Swann in the British soap opera EastEnders, a role she played from 2005 to 2009. The 35-year-old actress stays in shape by working out. She follows her fitness routine pretty much regularly not only to stay sexy but to also feel wonderful inside and out. Besides, working out helps her get the energy she needs in order to work as an actress more efficiently. In an interview, she got candid about her lifestyle habits. When asked about how she stays in shape, she said:
“I go to the gym up to three times a week, depending on how busy my schedule is. I’ve started doing yoga and wall climbing, too, and I’m obsessed with James Duigan’s Clean & Lean Diet book, which has such great tips for keeping fit.” Drinking lots of water also help her stay fit and healthy in general.
