Biography:

Kari Matchett was born on March 25, 1970 in Spalding, Saskatchewan, Canada. She got her acting training from the National Theatre School in Montreal and the Moscow Theatre School. She also started her acting career on stage. She made her TV debut in 1996 where she had guest roles on The Rez and Forever Knight. Her notable role was on the Canadian series Ready or Not.

In 1998, she made her movie debut in Papertrail. Subsequently, she appeared in the films Apartment Hunting, Angel Eyes, Men with Brooms, and Cube 2: Hypercube, among others. During the same period, she starred on A Nero Wolfe Mystery, as well as on the TV show Blue Murder. She next portrayed Dr. Mariel Underlay on the TV series Invasion. She went on to have recurring roles on 24, Heartland, ER, Crash, and Leverage.
