Biography:

Karoline Herfurth was born on 22 May 1984 in East Berlin, East Germany. She finished her degree from Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. She started her professional acting career as a child. She had her first lead part on television at age 10. She then made her feature film debut in 2000 at age 15.

During her teens, she appeared in the German films Mädchen, Mädchen and Big Girls Don’t Cry. In 2006, she made her first international appearance in the thriller Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. She played the role of the ‘Plum Girl’ in the film. She also had a role in the Hollywood movie The Reader.
