Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan debuted in the 2011 Hindi film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Shortly after, he landed a role in the movie Akaash Vani. He then played the male lead in the romantic film Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, though this didn’t make much impact on his career.
This changed when he starred in the films Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which were both commercial successes. He also starred in the comedy film Guest iin London. For his role in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, he won Best Actor in a Comic Role at the Zee Awards. In 2019, he starred in the film Luka Chuppi, opposite Kriti Sanon.
That same year, he had a notable performance in the romantic black comedy film Pati Patni Aur Woh, co-starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. His most recent work on the big screen was in the 2020 romantic drama movie Love Aaj Kal, working alongside Sara Ali Khan. Moreover, the actor will star in three upcoming films that are set to premiere in 2021.
Kartik Aaryan’s Bollywood career has certainly flourished since embarking on an acting journey in the early 2010s. But it wasn’t only his career that has gone through transformation. Throughout the years, he’s also improved his body and overall physique so that he now appears fitter, stronger, and more confident than ever.
To help him get fit, Aaryan worked with a personal trainer. It is important for the body to not get stuck in certain workout routines. Hence, the actor and his trainer constantly switch things up, combining activities and movements for variety. In an interview, the actor said that it took him about six months to get six-packs.
“I do 200 push-ups daily and 500 counts of skipping. I do go for mountain-climbing as an exercise,” said the actor. “I enjoy doing leg crunches, leg raises, cycling, crunches on the ball and crunches with weights. It helps in toning up the abs.”
