Biography:

Kate Nash was born on 6 July 1987 in Harrow, London. She attended the BRIT School where she finished her studies. She initially wanted to become an actress but she didn’t get to the drama and acting schools she applied for. In 2005, she started a musical career instead, posting her works in MySpace. Two years later, she released the single “Foundations”, which became a sleeper hit in the UK.

This led to her releasing her debut album Made of Bricks, which reached atop the UK charts. Her second album My Best Friend Is You was released in 2010 with its lead single “Do-Wah-Doo” also gaining success. Her third album Girl Talk, however, was not as successful as her first and second albums. Her fourth and latest album Yesterday Was Forever came out last year. She’s also ultimately started an acting career. As of 2017, she stars as Rhonda “Britannica” Richardson in the Netflix series GLOW.
