Katee Sackhoff was born on April 8, 1980 in Portland, Oregon, USA. She started her acting career when she was given her first role in the television film Fifteen and Pregnant. She then moved to Hollywood after graduating from high school.

In 2001, she made her big screen debut in the film My First Mister. She was later cast as Jen in Halloween: Resurrection.

Her recurring roles on television include Annie in Undressed, Lenore Fearing in The Fearing Mind, Nell Bickford in The Education of Max Bickford and Det. Frankie Reed in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
