She next had roles in the films Airport ’77, Lifeguard, I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, The Promise, and The Runner Stumbles. In the ’80s, she had performances in the movies Independence Day, Twilight Zone: The Movie, and Wild Thing. Later in 1991, she portrayed Patricia Kennealy in Oliver Stone’s The Doors.
