Biography:
Katie Aselton was born on October 1, 1978 in Milbridge, Maine, US. She joined beauty pageants in the mid 1990s before venturing into acting. She began her television career in 2001, making her first television appearance in Undressed. Some years later, she made her film debut in The Puffy Chair. In the 2010s, she appeared in the movies The Freebie, Cyrus, Our Idiot Brother, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and Black Rock.
She gained further recognition on the small screen after being cast for the role of Jenny MacArthur in the sitcom The League, a character she still plays up to present. She has also made appearances on other television shows, including Players in 2010 and Revolution in 2014. She also recently starred in Gus Van Sant’s 2015 movie The Sea of Trees.
