Katie Findlay was born on August 28, 1990 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Her first television appearance was as Jill Redmond in an episode of Fringe.

In 2011, she gained recognition for her role as Rosie Larsen in the series The Killing. She also appeared in other shows including Psych, Endgame, Stargate Universe and Continuum.

As of 2013, she portrays the role of Maggie Landers in the teen series The Carrie Diaries. That same year, she starred in the film The Philosophers as Bonnie.
