Biography:

Katie Leung was born on 8 August 1987 in Motherwell, Scotland, UK. After her father saw a casting call for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he suggested she should try, which she did. Out of 3,000 girls, she was chosen for the role of Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was released in 2005.

She reprised her role in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She also reprised it in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. She had also made her TV debut in an episode of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. Her next work was on the miniseries Run. She also appeared on another miniseries titled One Child. Her most recent roles are in the films The Foreigner and T2 Trainspotting.
