Biography:

Keeley Hawes was born on 10 February 1976 in Marylebone, London, England. She got her speech and drama training from the Sylvia Young Theatre School. At age 17, she left home and was scouted as a model. During her beginnings, she made appearances in some music videos. She also made her television debut on the show Forever Green in 1989. In 1997, she became known for starring on the British program The Beggar Bride.

She next appeared in 4 episodes of Our Mutual Friend and Wives and Daughters. In 1998, she made her big screen debut in The Avengers. The following decade, she made appearances in the films Complicity, Death at a Funeral, and The Bank Job. Her television career also flourished with performances as DI Alex Drake on Ashes to Ashes, Lady Agnes Holland on Upstairs, Downstairs, and as Lindsay Denton on Line of Duty. From 2016 to 2017, she starred as Louisa Durrell on The Durrells.
