Hollywood star Kelly Hu had her career beginnings in the 1980s. Her first acting gig was the show Growing Pains where she appeared in three episodes. She also starred in the films Shanghai Kiss and Devil’s Den. In the 2010s, she made several notable roles on television. This includes playing Pearl in The Vampire Diaries, China White in Arrow, and Abigail Cho in Warehouse 13.
The 50-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to a healthy lifestyle. She owes her slender figure to how she takes care of her body by sticking to nutritious foods most of the time. She basically avoids processed foods and applies discipline and balance when it comes to the amount of foods she’s eating. In an interview, she said: “I enjoy things in moderation, I don’t put bad stuff in my body. I avoid alcohol, I don’t smoke and I eat lots of fruit and vegetables.”
She went on to say: “I just watch what I eat. I don’t have a diet per-se. I don’t like to diet but I’m really careful about eating healthy. I have a restaurant where we had an all-natural concept of soups, salads and sandwiches and so I’m really into that whole healthy, all natural stuff and I think that really helps.”
