Biography:

Kerry Butler was born on June 18, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York. She was only three years old when she began her career. This started in television ads. She later attended Ithaca College where she studied musical theater. After finishing her degree, she officially began her stage career. In 1993, she made her first Broadway performance.

In the 2000s, she became more active on television. Her first notable role was in the soap opera One Life to Live. She later guest-starred in the TV shows Lipstick Jungle, 30 Rock, and Cupid. In the 2010s, she continued guest-starring in various shows. This includes Rescue Me, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Mysteries of Laura, and Elementary, among others. Her latest gig on the small screen was in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
