Biography:

Kim Cattrall was born on August 21, 1956 in Liverpool, England. She and her family settled in Canada when she was 16. She started her career after her high school graduation when she moved to New York City. She then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

In 1975, she made her film debut in Rosebud. She has since guest starred in such television shows as Starsky and Hutch, The Incredible Hulk and Charlie’s Angels.

She gained international recognition when she landed the role of Samantha Jones in HBO’s Sex and the City. She garnered five Emmy nominations for her role in the show.
