Biography:

Kimberley Walsh was born on November 20, 1981 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. She shot to fame when she auditioned for the reality show Popstars: The Rivals. She then won a place as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud.

The group went on to have mainstream success, having twenty consecutive Top 10 songs with four singles reaching No. 1 in the UK. They earned a total of five BRIT Award nominations and won “Best Single” with their song “The Promise”.

During the group’s hiatus, she focused on acting and presenting where she presented coverage for BAFTA Awards. In 2011, she also starred as Prissy Polly in the feature Horrid Henry: The Movie.
