Biography:
Kimberly Williams-Paisley was born on September 14, 1971 in Rye, New York. She started her career in the acting industry during her early teens. After high school, she attended Northwestern University. She left after two years to star as Annie Banks in the 1991 movie Father of the Bride. The film was a success and marked her cinematic debut as well. Afterwards, she went back to college to finish her degree in drama.
In 1995, she reprised her role as Annie Banks in the sequel Father of the Bride Part II. She has since starred in the movies The War at Home, Safe House, Just a Little Harmless Sex, and Simpatico. From 2001 to 2009, she became widely known for her role as Dana in the TV series According to Jim. During the same period, she also starred in a couple of TV movies such as Lucky 7. From 2012 to 2013, she played Peggy Kenter in Nashville. She also appeared as Gretchen in Two and a Half Men. In 2017, she starred in the movie Speech & Debate.
