His first starring role was as Trayvon in the short-lived series Black Jesus. Later in 2015, he made his cinematic debut with a cameo appearance in We Are Your Friends. He next had performances in such films as Fifty Shades of Black, Meet the Blacks, Grow House, The Babysitter, and Where’s the Money.
