Biography:

Kiran Rathod was born on January 11, 1981 in Jaipur, India. She graduated from Mithibai College in Mumbai. Before venturing into film, she first appeared in Hindi pop song albums in the late 1990s.

In 2001, she made her acting debut with the Hindi film Yaadein. That same year, she made her debut in Telugu cinema with Shubhakaryam.

She then moved down south where she experienced success for her roles in the Tamil films Gemini and Anbe Sivam. She has also made special appearances in such features as Thirumalai, Chinna and Thimiru, among others.
