Biography:

Koena Mitra was born on January 7, 1984 in Kolkata, India. She began her career as a model while still in school. In 2001, she won the Gladrags Mega Model India contest. She then competed in the Miss Intercontinental Pageant and made it up to the Top 12.

In 2002, she made her first film appearance in the feature Road. Two years after, she appeared in the 2004 film Musafir. She went on to gain further recognition for her performances in the blockbuster hits Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and Apna Sapna Money Money.

Other feature films include Insan, Heyy Babyy, Cash, Dhool, Blackmail, Agar, Anamika, Ayan, Asal, Dark Romance, The Story of Naomi and Bhai Land.
