Biography:

Kristin Chenoweth was born on July 24, 1968 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA. She received a scholarship to attend Philadelphia’s Academy of Vocal Arts, although she turned it down to appear in the musical Animal Crackers in New York.

She continued appearing in regional theatre productions, including Babes in Arms and Phantom. In 1999, she performed in the Broadway revival of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and won the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

She also transitioned into films, appearing in such movies as Bewitched, The Pink Panther, Stranger than Fiction and Tinker Bell, among others.
