Biography:

Kristina Akheeva was born on November 1, 1986 in Khabarovsk, Russia. She and her family moved to Australia when she was seven. She then relocated to Melbourne to pursue an acting career. While there, she took evening acting classes and started modeling.

In 2012, she moved to India where she was cast in the film Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, the sequel to the 2011 hit film Yamla Pagla Deewana. For the role, she learned Hindi in order to play her part effectively.

The film also served as her Bollywood feature film debut. She is also currently the brand ambassador and face of Anmol Jewellers.
