Biography:

Ksenia Solo was born on 8 October 1987 in Riga, Latvian SSR, Soviet Union. She relocated to Toronto, Canada with her family when she was five. She also studied ballet during her childhood until her early teens. This was when she was injured on her back, forcing her to quit. She shifted her interest to acting. In 2000, she made her acting debut in an episode of the TV series I Was a Sixth Grade Alien.

She next made her cinematic debut in My Louisiana Sky. She has since acted in the films Sins of the Father, The Republic of Love, and Love Thy Neighbor. Her first main role on the small screen was as Zoey Jones on the Canadian series renegadepress.com. From 2010 to 2011, she starred as Natasha on the show Life Unexpected. She became further known after getting the role of Mackenzie “Kenzi” Malikov on Lost Girl, which she played from 2010 to 2015.
