Kyle Richards was born on January 11, 1969 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, U.S. She made her first television appearance with an episode of the television series Police Woman in 1974.

The following year, she made her film debut in an uncredited role in the feature Escape to Witch Mountain. She later landed the role of Alicia Sanderson Edwards in the series Little House on the Prairie, for which she gained recognition.

She then became known for other notable parts on television such as the role of Elizabeth ‘Lissy’ Preston in Down to Earth and Nurse Dori in ER. She currently appears in the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
